Born to a Demon and a Faint Face
Ryuu Shiro was born on an extremely cold night on December 3rd to Kisame Hoshigaki and a woman yet to be named. Kisame noted that his son had none of his features, openly stating "This child is the exact embodiment of his mother... The white hair... The blue eyes..." - Thus, promptly stating that Ryuu looks exactly like his mother and that his mother had blue eyes and white hair. After five years, Kisame grew to dislike the life of a 'settled-down man" and left to return to his beloved life of crime. But before leaving, Kisame killed Ryuu's mother but spared the life of his son. Claiming that even though Ryuu looked nothing like him, he was his son - thus acknowledging him as so. He would then leave young Ryuu to fend for himself.
The Youngest of the Class
As Ryuu enrolled in the academy, the elder ninja would note that he had an exceptionally powerful chakra. They took interest in him and used him as an example during chakra procedures and studies in the academy. During his time in the academy, he was noted as being a prodigy - but he was quite lazy and had a tendency to sleep in the middle of lectures and lessons. As the time for graduation in the academy grew near, people also noted that he was not only the top of his class, but also the youngest as well. At graduation, he received honors for being the top graduate and youngest at the age of five and most accurate in the shurikenjutsu exam.
The Exile of an Innoncent Child
One day after Ryuu had graduated from the academy, several 'Anbu Black-Ops' ninja broke into Ryuu's home and placed him under a genjutsu, rendering him unable to escape from them. As Ryuu felt into a deep sleep from the genjutsu's effect - the Anbu tied him up and took him to the main gate of the village and left him alone. As he awoke, he noticed he had been taken outside the gate wall and the gates had been shut - leaving him unable to enter the village. As he began to cry one of the gate guards came over and began to shoo him away. Whilst being turned away, he asked what he had done to receive such harsh and cruel treatment. In response to the question the ninja answered "You are the son of the 'Monster of the Hidden Mist'. Who knows what you could do? You could just go on a killing spree and kill us all if you wanted to!" Ryuu had never been so hurt in his life. (With the exception of his mother's brutal murder at the hands of his own father and his abandonment.) Ryuu would never kill anyone! At least not with intention of killing anyone out of cold blood, but it was different if he needed to protect someone or himself. A small spark of anger grew in Ryuu's heart and he ran at the man - pounding at his legs with his fists. The man simply hit Ryuu in the face with the sheathe of his sword, knocking Ryuu down and causing his nose to bleed. This caused Ryuu's anger to grow to hatred. He quickly ran back at the man and leaped on his torso - headbutting him in due anger. The ninja had no time to respond and was caught completely off guard. As the ninja fell, Ryuu reached for the sword and pulled it from the sheathe, raising it above his head and preparing to plunge it deep into the mans chest. But as he brought the sharp blade down - a hand caught his arm from behind and stopped him. Ryuu turned to see whom it was. It was none other than the man known as 'Killer B'. Killer B pulled the boy off the man and gently pulled the sword from Ryuu's grasp. "Yo, yo, kid! Don't do that! You bout' gave that shinobi a heart-attack! Yahooooo!" In the process of meeting each other, it seemed as if they made an instant bond. Killer B would come to be the mentor and guardian of the young shinobi.
The Power of a Jinchuriki
In the many years they had been training, B had taught Ryuu various types of fighting styles and ninjutsu. He even taught him how to use Samehada and the Super-Vibro Lightning Release Swords. Ryuu would now be one day away from his nineteenth birthday - and as a gift, B would give Ryuu the powerful sword Samehada. a pair of Chakra Blades, and a set of Super-Vibro Lightning Release Swords as an early birthday present. Killer B ended their training for day and thus they went to rest for the night. That night, someone snuck into the home of Ryuu and Killer B - undoing the seal and placing a Genjutsu upon Gyuki, the Hachibi or Eight-Tails. Gyuki would rage and destroy many things but not before Ryuu killed the man who had undone the seal. Killer B's life-force had started to dwindle due to the strain placed on him by the removal of Gyuki. As he lay dying, the genjutsu would be broken upon Gyuki and Gyuki would apologize many times before B told him to stop and what was done had been done and there was nothing they could do. B wrote the seal for Ryuu to hold Gyuki and become the next Jinchurki of the tailed beast. Gyuki accepted Ryuu as his new master and thus they became close friends as one of their mutual friends lay dying. Both shed tears and thus Killer B died an honorable death. Ryuu had now gained the power of a Jinchuriki.
The Yin-Yang Brothers Created
A month after the death of B, Ryuu went to Kurogakure to inform B's brother A of his death. Leaving shortly after arriving, Ryuu ventured to Kirigakure to inform the leaders that he had now harnessed the power of the Hachibi, Gyuki. The leaders responded with great fear and told him to leave at once - which he did. But not before meeting a young shinobi by the name of Kuro Akuma. Akuma was running from the Anbu of the village and told Ryuu to help him. He explained that they wanted to kill him because he had the Kyubi, Kurama sealed within him and thus making him a Jinchuriki. The Anbu attacked the pair relentlessly as Akuma hid behind Ryuu. In the flash of a moment, all of the Anbu lay moaning and groaning in agony and pain. Akuma explained how awesome Ryuu was and that they were now brothers. Akuma called them the 'YIN-YANG Brothers' due to their seemingly polar opposite personalities and styles. With Akuma being the Yang half and Ryuu being the Yin half. The 'Yin-Yang Brothers' had been created - and Ryuu promised to teach the young shinobi how to become friends with Kurama and how to harness its powers. They would leave the village and begin training rigorously.
